How it works
Verify you’re human
Scan a QR code with the Self mobile app. A zero-knowledge proof confirms you’re a unique person holding a valid government ID. Your identity never leaves your device. We only receive an anonymous nullifier.
Choose a model
Pick from the current frontier catalog served through Venice AI. The same daily budget applies regardless of which model you use.
Chat or build
Use the in-browser chat, or get an API key and call it from your editor, agent, or CLI. The same daily quota of 10,000 tokens covers both. Resets at 00:00 UTC.

UBC is a public-good experiment: a credibly neutral allocation of compute, one human at a time, gated only by the constraint that you are one. The code is open, the budget is uniform, and the verification reveals nothing about who you are.
